Strick Equipment (for collecting oil from restaurant oil bins) This is the best 12v pump I have used. You can run it off your car battery or connect it to a jump-start kit. The pump comes with a gas pump style handle.
VEG OIL FUEL SOURCES:
Venice99 Veg Oil Co-op A co-op of people in the Venice area that are collectively gathering and filtering oil for fuel. They have a goal of providing fuel for $ 0.99/gallon.
Veggifuel.org Located in Van Nuys, this company provides filtered waste vegetable oil from restaurants and will deliver it to you.
BIODIESEL INFO:
Los Angeles BioDiesel Co-op The Co-op has fueling stations in several places and will be opening more locations. Check the website for more information.
Sustainable Options.com Info on biodiesel fueling stations in Southern California. Southern California Biodiesel Users Group Through this organization, you can get a membership that will allow you to purchase biodiesel at any of the gas stations that sell biodiesel.
